A laundry needs room for everyday work, not just the appliances. Axena plans the cabinetry, benchtop, sink and services as part of an agreed renovation scope, whether you are updating the laundry on its own or alongside a bathroom.
Start with how you use the room
Bring the dimensions of the appliances you want to keep or replace, and consider space for sorting, folding and storing cleaning equipment. Door openings, appliance clearances, access to taps and the position of the sink all affect the layout. We review these details at the site visit before preparing your quote.

Our Regents Park project in Logan shows the original laundry alongside its finished cabinetry. The renovated room has overhead cupboards, drawers, tall storage and a benchtop above side-by-side appliances. The same project also includes the renovated bathroom spaces.

Planning both rooms together
A combined bathroom and laundry renovation starts with a scope for each room. Discuss which fittings stay, what needs to move and how you will manage washing and bathroom access during construction. The quote should identify cabinetry, fixtures, service changes, finishes and allowances so you can compare the work being included.
How Axena works
More than a collection of trades.
Most renovation problems are coordination problems: a tiler booked before the waterproofer, a stone template taken before the cabinetry is fixed, a variation agreed on site and forgotten. Axena holds an open builder licence and runs the whole job, so the sequence is planned before the first trade arrives.

Common questions
Do you give a fixed price?
Yes. After a site visit you receive a written scope with a fixed price, with any supply allowances for items you have not yet selected shown separately.
Which areas do you cover?
Brisbane, Logan and the Redlands. If you are just outside those areas, ask; it depends on the project.
Are you licensed?
Axena Projects Pty Ltd holds QBCC Open Builder Licence 15558211.
Can we stay in the home during the work?
Usually, yes. For a single bathroom or kitchen most clients stay. For whole-home work we plan the sequence with you so there is always a usable kitchen or bathroom where possible.
