Axena bathrooms are run by a QBCC open-licensed builder. We strip the room back to frame, repair what the old bathroom was hiding, and rebuild in the correct sequence with certified waterproofing and licensed plumbing and electrical — with the certificates in your hand at handover. It's the difference between a bathroom that looks new and one that stays new.
The site visit records visible conditions and identifies areas that need further investigation. Concealed damage may only become clear during demolition and is documented before additional work is agreed.

We confirm a suitable site-visit time after reviewing your enquiry. We measure, check what's behind the walls where we can, and give you a fixed-price quote with tile and fixture allowances itemised.
Tiles, vanity, tapware, screens — chosen and locked before demolition with availability and allowances checked before construction.
Typically 3–4 weeks on site: demolition, carpentry, rough-ins, certified waterproofing, tiling, fit-off and glass — our trades, our sequence, one accountable builder.

At handover
When your bathroom is finished you receive the waterproofing, plumbing and electrical compliance certificates, plus care guides for your new products, together in one pack.
Waterproofing is installed by a licensed applicator and certified. Plumbing and electrical work is done by licensed trades.

We service the Redlands mainland. Cleveland, Wellington Point, Ormiston, Birkdale, Thorneside, Capalaba, Alexandra Hills, Thornlands, Victoria Point and Redland Bay are all regular territory, and we build across Brisbane's east and the Logan corridor too.
We confirm site-visit availability after reviewing your enquiry. Your written quote sets out the scope and allowances and is valid for 30 days.
Waterproofing is part of the bathroom scope, with the applicable compliance documentation provided at handover. The quote also identifies plumbing, electrical and repair work required for your renovation.
That's most of what we do. Older bathrooms often hide surprises — water-damaged framing, out-of-date plumbing, asbestos sheeting in pre-90s homes. We identify what we can at the site visit, handle licensed asbestos removal where needed, and document anything found at demolition with photos and a written price before extra work happens.
After a site visit, the quote fixes the price for the agreed scope and identifies supply allowances. Changes to selections or scope are priced and agreed in writing under the contract. Hidden conditions are documented before additional work is agreed.
Axena runs the job with our regular trade team — the same plumbers, waterproofers, tilers and electricians we use week in, week out. One builder is accountable for the lot, and you deal with one person from quote to handover.
